IMANSSON ELECTRIC MOTORS

Imansson electric motors (eP-series) are 100% current powered products. The motors have been developed to offer a simple but powerful solution and is a smart compromise suiting multiple applications. These electric motors are water cooled for steady endurance, the transmission with reduction gears provides optimum shaft speed and a high torque. This rotation force allows using propellers with a large diameter; these so called ‘high thrust’ propellers are very effective at towing or at sailing under heavy conditions. Since the electric motor enables torque during the whole rpm range, the possibility exists to manoeuvre at very low speeds. Rudder pressure will linger as long as the propeller revolves.

Imansson eP-motors are available in different versions; voltage and output may differ and so do the futures. The electric motors are available from 19kW until 42kW rated power.

Besides the eP-series, Imansson also delivers battery packs and the Current Control Unit (CCU) which controls the installation’s battery pack. Our line of LiFePo4 batteries offer a solution to demanding applications.
